I am glad I saved the money. I think my pictures turned out as good as a professional one that would have cost me an arm and a leg!
The Purple Penguins!!!
Of course, on the last day of T-Ball, Jeremy decides that he is going to actually have fun and cooperate!
Pile of gloves!
Our last day of T-Ball...the last game of the season...Jeremy decided to enjoy this last day and have fun! He participated fully and did great and most importantly...HAD FUN! His coach made the certificates and had the store make the penguin cookies with purple icing! Of course...they all got a trophy and that was the highlight of the season! Maybe we will be back next year...I have a left handed thrower that can bat lefty or righty!!! A left handed switch hitter is very rare I am told! We will see what happens next year!

Independence Day in Galena
Brooke, Jeremy, Reese, Elyssa
They were loud!
Kristi moved to Iowa City the summer after 8th grade....which explains the red eyes....she really wasn't that sad to be graduating 8th grade!
Elyssa, Kristi, Brooke, Jeremy and me....Reese was napping and we didn't have the heart to wake her just for a group photo! Not to mention how crabby she would be if we did!
Brooke and Jeremy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For 4th of July, Jeremy and I went to Galena for the weekend. One of my best friends from Junior High, Kristi, was in town visiting her parents. It has been 4 years since we have seen each other. Last time, Jeremy was 1 and Brooke was about 7-8 months, Elyssa was about 3 and Reese was not in the picture! We had a lot of fun together and are glad we had a chance to see each other and catch up a bit. I am hoping that maybe my dad's dream of retiring in Galena will come true...and soon!!!! How great it would be to have them close by again!
