The first day of school is off to a good start. Other than Jeremy being a bit more nervous this year than last year, him being mad at me for making him eat an egg on toast instead of fruity pebbles and also being mad that he could not take his legos to school.....it was a good morning! Can't wait to hear how his day went!

School starts tomorrow for most and on Thursday for the Kindergartners! We decided to spend the night before school with our favorite friends for one last hurrah at Dairy Mart! I think a new tradition has been started!!! Now bring on the 2011-2012 School Year!

It's hard for me to believe that the beautiful woman in the pictures above is a Mommy! You see, Melissa, pictured above, came into my life twenty-three years ago! She was a sweet 5 year old cutie pie and I was her 13 year old babysitter! I called her and her equally sweet siblings, "My Kids"! I am so excited for you Melissa on the birth of your first child, beautiful Kate Elizabeth! Now hang on tight and enjoy the ride we call motherhood! It is the most rewarding and challenging job you'll ever have and it is going to FLY by in the blink of an eye!
