Today is the 100
th Day of 1st Grade! Jeremy has the flu and is missing the celebration at school that he has been looking forward to for weeks! Looks like his friends at school are having a good time....
All the first graders were to make a shirt with 100 of something on it. Jeremy's shirt theme is, "I've got my eyes on you!" This is what 100 googly eyes on a shirt look like!
I thought we would work on some homework today and do a special 100 Day of School Project. 100
FrootLoops Necklace. I even made a special sign that says, "Happy 100
th Day of School!" and put it on the table by his work....you can see from the picture above how he felt about my plans to make the day special even though he was stuck at home.
I made the
FrootLoop Necklace and Jeremy hung out under the table as I dangled it over his face....There's that smile that I have been missing!!!
Next he got to play on
Poptropica on my computer for a little bit while I ate my lunch. He did a few math games...see how I snuck in some learning....then he was able to play whatever it is that he likes to play on
Poptorpica for a little bit.
That was enough for this poor sick guy....now him and all his 100 eyes are hanging out on the couch watching
TV and I'm trying to figure out what I can give him that he will eat....he doesn't want to eat anything at all. We are sad that the flu brought him down this week but are glad that he will be all better in time for the next much awaited school event...Valentine's Day!
