Thank you Granny & Pa for our summer birthday family present!

We are all ready to go camping for the first time!

Even Bandit & Maddie felt at home in our new tent!

Of course, the most fun is playing lego star wars with one of your best friends! They didn't get any mosquito bites this time while playing the the back yard!

Just a few more weeks until out first real camping trip with LOC!

Harvard Milk Days....69 Years of Family Fun!

We spend the day in Harvard, IL, enjoying some of the Harvard Milk Days activities. This festival is the longest running festival in the state of Illinois! This year is the 69th year and Jeremy and I were happy to be able to participate in some of it....even in the rain!

Harvard was once a HUGE dairy farming community!

Here come the fire trucks!

Boy are they loud!!!

After the parade we went to the festival grounds.

Jeremy was able to see some great looking cows up close

and he even got to pet them.

This is "Hermilda". She is the famous Harvard Milk Days Mascot!

He then rode a pony named Ozzie.

Finally, he enjoyed a few rides.

We bought some cotton candy on the way out

and the day was complete!
